I haven't heard from you in a while, how did you do battling it out on blacktop at Albion? I did'nt make it that day, I recently went to Portersville - theres some pretty mean JD's down that way I was pretty impressed. They made Kisers "G" look like a sissy. He was in his glory though!

Not too bad with a John Deere 60 in the 10,000 lb. class. Tied with a Case 830 for 5th. place. Not bad for old Thumper, being out classed. Did not run out of power and still trying to get weight moved arround to where we need it. That is a different pull all together.

You are right about that track being of a different breed of a beast. Did you take any other of your tractors up? Rick said he was going up but got to busy or maybe it was the fear of "THUMPER"?????

Allis Puller: Rick don't have to fear Thumper in Albion, unless he comes up to the 10,000 Lb. class. He pulls in the 7,500 lb. I can't say for sure if he was there this year. We were not in the same class but I think he said at Stoneboro that he was going to another pull that day or week end. Albion is always on Fri. of the fair. We took the old red horse up and I let Glen pull it in the 7,500 lb. class. He got 6th. with it and we did not think that was too bad as top two were Johndeere 60"S than Farmall 400 and 450 and Ford 5000 and than Glen with the S-M.

Yes that is correct, that club has the strongest G's I ever seen pull, they have the experience and good equipment, unless your G is top notch, don't take it to pull against those ones, ps, they are all good fellows too.

Thats exactly what I told my Dad, I thought they were a great bunch of people. There was no controversy and the officials did'nt treat you like your a graduate of the 2nd grade like other places I've pulled at. I plan on making it back.
