What is the wheel speed & do you ever get the front tires in the air?

Not sure of ground speed, but I do know front up I spin out, add weight to hold the front down still spinout.

Just checking to ensure 99 to 100% of the tractor weight was on the rear wheels when you spin out. Have seen Good Year 23 degree bias ply pull as good as any. Too low tire presure is a commom problem. If the tire bars bend instead of standing straight & digging in = loss of traction. Lets the drawbar drop too, reduces weight on drawbar, increase weight/drag on the sled plus more dirt ahead of the pan to push.

What are you complaining about? At least yours runs long enough to spin out! I think I am going to shoot my mechanic. My tractor hasn't run right since I started letting me work on it. I may be able to help on the tire thing. Send me an e-mail.

Firestone field and road 14.9 or 15.5x38 would work nice on your ollie. If you could find an old set of armstrongs that are weathered and harder than chinese arithmatic, with a 23deg bar, they'd work too.

Add some weight to your 88 and put it up there with the really 3 plow tractors and then see what happens

Pulling 5500 to 6500 class, have M&W rear wheel weights on now 365lbs each. Tractor will pull 67 horse on the dyno, 6400 on the scale.

By the way, did I tell you when I pull in the 6500 to 7500 class with the real 5 bottom tractors, I still spin out.

Maybe you should try a pair of 30.5x32's if they dont work maybe you could run duels. If your still spinning out in road gear, maybe you could get some 20.8x46's and run triples. If that dont work i guess maybe you should just park it back in the fence row with with the old stieger that wount pull the 18 bottom plow, and just keep farming with it.
