I am just wondering----- does anyone consider what a good re-work of the valves ( ofcourse the ports, too )....will do for air flow in and out...??? I always Back-cut the valves in several angles, then polish....It increases the effective valve lift, and effective airflow duration... I cut right out to the seat contact area, in increasing angles, to smooth air-flow... Makes a big difference..!! Ofcourse, I have my own valve/seat grinder... I find it more accurate than the work done at NAPA.....

Bullett racing Cams in Memphis, Sonny worked for Lunanti Cams for years and now does his own. He does a great job and is a great person.

Great cam, great service, quick turnaround, you can't beat it.

Let me know if you need his address and number.

Berry cams just reground a cam for my 70 JD gas. I secified stock R.P.M. He reground the cam and lifters for $144.00 shipping included. I am happy with the work and 1 week turn around. While the engine was apart I ported the head and ground the valves, took 1/4" off the deck surface and installed ,045 over gas pistons. I have not had much time to mess with the thing on the dyno. I just more or less base lined it. I had about 60hp at rated R.P.M. It seems to me the cam build a little more power at high idle than the stock cam. I'm going to give it more fuel and mess with timing when I get a chance.
