Do yall think an M with the slow slow first gear
and new tires will pull good. I have seen some JD
B's or A's(not really a JD man) with worn down
tires win consisently in 8,600. All coments
appreciated. O and what yall think an 1948 M with
perfect sheetmetal and not restored with the slow
gear opt. is worth. I kno we basically stole it.
(won my two classes this year at only 14yrs old)

He should stop, but you should mind your manners. Just because you are 14 and think you know it all doesn't mean you do. An M with the low first gear will be a good pulling tractor if properly balanced, and given good, hard, sharp rubber on the back. You won't be pulling with speed or momentum, so you will have to pay attention to your ballance alot more, and play with your throttle some when you get to spinning. Good Luck though. Greg H.
