How do they get the head gasket to seal with 15/16" of metal gone from around the bore? Is a stepped block/bore used similar to the gas power blocks? A stepped piston would be required as well to keep the compression up and provide an initial combustion chamber during injection?

You need to talk to Carlyle engineering he runs a ad in green mag. He pulls "Gang Green" around here and I believe it is 8". It is the meanest 2 cyl. puller I have ever seen.

Sure! It will give people something to talk about.
It would be hard to find a head gasket for a 8 inch bore Massey. I know some people running this block in the southern areas, but nothing up the midwest way. I'd like to just hear one. THUMP/THUMP/THUMP!! You goda like it.
You going down to MO.?
Sounds like a small pull so far.
I'm not going, but who am I?
Good luck if you do!
