I just bought a gk190 motor trouble is I already had a head. What is that head worth? And while I am at it what should I do with that motor on a budget. Around here I can run that block.

You mean 195?or is it as 190? 190 was a wet sleeve and 195 was a dry sleeve. Parts for the 195's are getting fairly hard to find so don't give the stuff away-remember, you might need a extra head someday and wish you hadn't sold it! Just my thoughts.

OK Waukeshaguy, I need some info. How do you tell WHAT Waukesha engine is WHAT? I've got a gasket catalog from Carquest and all they list is the Waukesha model #. (gk190, 195, 180, etc). Please help, I'm dumber than a box of rocks at this. Thanks. oleblu

I own one of these also that I have in a Super 88. It is not legal where I am from but I pull in my own class and just have fun with it. If I were to build mine up then I would bore it out to 4-3/8 in. bore and then if you wanted to do it cheap then get some 77 rods that have 2 inch rod journals and offcenter grind the crank 5/8 inch. This would give you 417 cu. in. and you probably would not spend over 1000 dollars depending how many buddies you have as machinists.
