Figured I'd start a new chat, cuz it gets hard to follow those long ones after a while.

What is it you pull / what classes?

Keep in mind the SMTA doesn't move fast enough to really warrant a kill switch but the reasoning for the switch is still good. As for the fenders, *MAYBE* a set could be put on before Saturday.

Can't make any promises that we'll make it to Lumberton, but we are planning to play around a little more next season.

I have A farmall M that I pull in 5000 5500 6000 6500 and When I pull in Washintonville PA. We do not need a kill switch or feders in the reglar claces but you do need them in the open claces

I pull a AC D-17 in antique stock and 4500 farm.
Do you pull the SMTA in super? If not, you aren't required to have kill switch, fenders, or dead man throttle. We would invite you Down East anytime.

Well, darn, the old man was hoping for a free trophy (ha ha). SMTA can't pull below much below 6000lb super classes. Has pulled in 5700lb super but that's about the lowest weight class. Of course adjusting the weight down may also be included in this winter's projects!!

THE Bulldog (M) can't pull below 4700 pound stock classes (unless Wildman wants to donate some of the light weight materials he's using, yeah right!).

IF we don't make it Saturday, keep us in mind when next season's schedule comes available.

p.s. to Flogger - If we don't make it Saturday, get a photo of yourself down to me for The Hook !! (-;

The folks at CATPA would probably let the fenders and kill switch slide I know this summer there has been several times the kill switch didn't get hooked, have wheelie bars loosen the throtle tensioner and put a return spring on in and go pullin', if we don't get rained out.

Ms Bulldog,

Just happen to have a set of M-450 fenders laying in the shed. Not for sale but you're more than welcome to borrow them sat. As for the kill switch just tie a long string to the coil wire. [Poor folks got poor ways.] Let me know about the fenders and I'll put them on the truck. Hope yall can make it, and HOPE it doesn't rain.

Later

Mr. Flogger, mighty nice of you. The old man has a set of fenders (one of the winter's projects). IF mamma nature doesn't rain us out, he's going to bring the SMTA as it is (especially since it's on the front of the truck). Think we can handle the kill switch as you described. Again, thanks for the offer.
Anyone have a contact phone number to check on pull status in the morning, for all us "westerners"? THANKS again.
