Same lenght. Piston has different pin height.

I think the only pin height difference is the 175 piston and I know for a fact its 1/4" taller than stock. The WD45's just had the power crator piston and from what I hear if you take a 45 crank and a WD flat top you'll get even more power.

I'm pretty sure they are the same, and the only difference is the 1/2" of stroke.

I am thinking of going the WD-45 crank route with WD flat top pistons. Will this gain more pressure than using 175 pistons?

Hello Tom, I recognized the email address, I tried several times to respond to your email but it kept coming back and it said it had fatal errors? So N-E-Ways if you have questions you can always reach me on this board. I honestly don't know about the flat top pistons and and a 4 1/2 crank, I've only heard it makes a lot of compression. My 175 pistons make 185 lbs of compression which is plenty, just don't buy after market 175's, they are'nt any different exept they are 1/8" wider. The true 175's were 1/4" taller and thats what makes the h.p. You could get the 175's and have them filled in with weld to make them flat top and they'd probably be really tough. The 175's will run you around $600.00 - pretty pricey but well worth the h.p. Kurt
