Does anyone know a combination that will give a 4 and 1/2 or 4 and 5/8 bore in a D-17 motor, other than custom sleeves and pistons. I have a set of 4020 sleeves that I thought might work with some cusomizations but can't find a 4 and 1/2 inch piston that is anywhere near right. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Lots of 4 5/8 MM pistons out there, came in everything from a 5 Star on up.

a ford V 8 truck engine i believe it a 472 has a 4.5 piston that will work with the 4.5 stroke then we used a 4.5 liner repair sleeve in the block it was about 50 dollars per sleeve
