Hi,
I've been told different stories about the age an antique needs to be to be classified "antique"
I have a nest of Cockshutt square noses, one of which is equipped to pull, and I'm told that 40 years is too young to enter in an " antiques tractor pull" What is the generic or rule of thumb or what ever gauge used to classify the age eligibily for entry?

Different clubs seem to make there own rules on the age change from antique to classic. Here close to where I live they seem to take 1939 and below as antique and 1940 to 1959 as classic. I pulled at a pull where 1938 was the split.

1938 is usually the cut off because 1939 they stlyed most of the tractors. Most clubs say 1938 or unstlyed as antiques.
