We have been trying to get a mt. Pleasant, MI pull going. I will notify you guys when It will be, or when the fair board meeting will be. I was wondering what your thoughts were, and wondering what kind of ruled you guys would use for a good pull. we were thinking a 4 of 5mph speed limit if we get one in during the fair.

Sounds like a great idea, I know there's been talk for a few years now. Would be nice to have a pull in Mounty town. Got my vote for 5mph, try to make better and more exciting for the fans and maybe a quicker show!

thanks for the thought, we were thinkin of a speed that the yet still "stock" tractors and the modified antique tractors could still be competitive. We were thinking 4, but 5 isn't out of the question. I will post when the next fair board meeting is. If we get one in, then we will talk about a GOOD set of rules, and get some kind of "rabbit" like evert so we don't have to worry about the horn guy cheating.
thanks,
John

we don't know if we even will get one in yet for 100%, but the odds are looking good. I am not yet for sure, we haven't asked about truck pulls, we have just talked about the farm stock tractors. If we do get one in thought I wouldn't doubt we will have trucks in a few years, but probably(sp) not the first 2 years.
John
ps-Gladwin MI has truck pulls, we tractor pull there, and hope to see ya there. this comeing summer.

Great Idea! I live over by McBain MI. Are you thinking about an antique pull or a farm stock pull? Will this be a transfer sled or dead weight pull? I've got a few thoughts on the pull depending what kind of pull you are going to have.
Good luck with the fair board!

We will have a transfer sled, and we want to have a speed limit. I think it will be a farm stock pull to get all the people in it. Don't get your hopes up TOO far, because whe have been trying to get this in for several years now and they're now getting talking about it. I just wanted to get some thoughts on it.

Please let us know when the next fair board meeting is as I would like to attend also as I also live in Isabella County. It is very important that we get as many pullers as possible to show up so the Fair Board knows that we tax payers of Isabella County are serious about getting Farm Stock Tractorpulling back at the Fair after way to long an absence. I would say let everyone you know who Farm Stock Tractorpulls and lives in Isabella County to be at the next fair board meeting so it shows the fair board it is more than just a few people who want tractorpulling back at the Isabella County Fair.
