Was looking at div 5 rules and was wondering what they mean by deck plates. Thanks Steve

Can also be used to adapt a differant head to the block but is mostly for what they said. Using a longer rod on a stroked out engine it lets the pistion stay in the sleve and still go up past where the deck used to be.

There used to give you a longer rod ,to give more piston travel,also on some engines ther needed to keep top of block together,from way over bores.

Spacer plate between head and block on 2 piece engines or on 3 piece engines between jugs and heads or jugs and block.
