THANKS TO ALL YOU GUYS WHO DEFENDED ME, IT IS NICE TO SEE THAT THERE ARE A FEW GENTLEMEN LEFT IN THE SPORT.
Well. Seeing how I am the only female, blond, moline puller in the NATPA, the Ogallala posting must be about me. Whatever I have done to offend the person who posted that message, I apologize. I was unaware I had put myself in the position to be slandered on an otherwise clean discussion forum. What I will not apologize for is the fact that for the first time in quite a while I made a damn fine hook. I did not win first or second at Ogallala, but for me the hook I made was great. I had FUN. My tractor was teched by the same people who teched many tractors that weekend. Rich Wenzig, Thad Witt, Lyle Rhoorda, Bill Burch and many others were there and or helped. I got no special treatment. I want no special treatment.
What this rude person has done, has not effected me so much, but has made it 100 times harder to be a female in the sport of tractor. There are people who don't take us seriously and there are those who will believe what that person said and they will do all they can to make it harder for us. I guess if he feels better about himself by starting rumors about me, I don't have much to say that can stop him. But I will voice my opinion on his message.
"Merry Christmas, and Screw You."(thought I would put it in terms that you understand)

Jennifer:
It is good to know that more and more gals are getting in to the fun sport of pulling. It is great fun. I pull MM tractors in Mid-Michigan and have a ball doing so. Building up a couple as we speak. I am fairly new do the discussion forum, but this has been interesting reading for sure. There is always a controversy brewing, but I kinda ignore it and have fun getting to know some great country folks. Made alot of friends for sure. I must admit that when I read that there was a nice gal pulling an MM, I thought wow, cool! Most gals laugh at my tractor pulling hobby. Keep up the good work. If you would like, tell me about your MM. I am always interested in those yellow machines. Keep pullin!

Sincerely,
Ethan Berry

I've pulled against Jennifer several times, I've never seen anything illegal or imoral about her. She's got a very good running tractor and seems to enjoy the sport. It's nice to have a female to pull against that is a good sport and doesn't mind the off color jokes of all of us dirty old and young farmers.

Jennifer,

As I read the first part of that discussion I thought "geez, all of the Illegal rigs got DQed and someone who was typically back a little ways won for a change. Someone must be happy to see a true puller win" I guess I am just a amatuer puller and having hung around here for a while I should have known better.

Good Luck and keep beating them!

Jennifer jealousy is an unfortunate, but very real, human fraility. do not let the inadequacies of others become your burden.

PS: Please refrain from saying "Screw You" in the future. This moron, whomever he is, may not even walk upright. There is a very real possibility that he may not get it; in every sense of the word. Despite what you meant, you may have raised his hopes, only yet, to be a loser again!!

Jennifer this person just wants to start trouble and picked on you because you are a female. You did a great job pulling. If he was at the pull he should have spoke to a tech off. when you were pulling not on here 10 days later. Good luck the rest of the year and dont let this bother you at all.

This is great, I love it. Keep up the good work and beat them worst next time. My favorite comment for one of my wife's pulls was "that really burns my a$$" LOL. If they can't take the heat - don't go to the track. LOL again!!

Up here were I live we don't have many women pullers. The women here really do have the touch when it comes to pulling, the funniest thing of all is that they beat us men.

Jennifer is a better man than most of the other people on this site. She certainly isn't a whinner.

I just had to comment on this posting. I had missed out on the original but just looked it up after reading this one. Sooo jennifer, you made a really good pull at Ogallala after being teched, inspected, and passed. forst of all congrads!! Nothing makes you feel better than having a good hook after trying to get things right. Secondly, if I read the other posting right you as they said finally did alot better than you have been doing. Hummm wonder if it could be that instead of being biased towards your tractor they just weeded out the ones that were running in the "gray area"??? makes a big difference when the playing field is made a little bit even ya know?

I don't have a problem at all with women pulling, been trying to get my wife to hook with my tractor all this year but she just don't get into it. Hehe of course if she ever does and the beats me on my own tractor I will just move my cot out in the shed cause I would NEVEr hear the end of it !! LOL!!!!!

It has amazed me alot on this board that folks are griping and complaining about people cheating then turning right around and griping about NATPA enforcing the rules better.

Oh well, if your gonna be in Murray I'll probably see ya then. Plan on coming up and watching both days. Watched a lady last year on am Oliver 88 up there who did real good as well as someone on a Ford but am not sure who either of them are.

Hey Jen I just checked this site after dinner and saw this. I take these insinuations very personal as you are a dear friend and I had a lot to do with your tractor, and to think that Rich or Bob would let you or any of us by is absurd. Phil Munson put it best in caling this low life what he is.

Thinkin about it..how has the little blond chick won so many points champs, if she says she never hooks well. Must be nice to be enfluential like that. You put that real nicely there blondie. You haven't affended me yet, but I am still insulted that just cause you got what you got you get around the rules. So many folks defending you, I guess the favors must be more widespread than we origianally thought. Watch out for her boys, whoever shes after best be careful.

Mr. Rude Person,
What a nice way to identify yourself, sounds like something I said once. If you plan to continue making slanderous accusations about me on this public website at least be man enough to let us know who you are. Put up or shut up you jerk.
Have a Nice Day-
Jennifer

Ms Werner we have not met, nor have I had the privelege to see you pull your mighty minnie. Apparently, you are not in the true Christmas spirit having recently "trashed" a whole bunch of red and green.

To all you "real men" whining, shivering, and cold, Hunker down, hang tight, take a fierce hold, The Champion; A LADY, drives Prairie Gold!! You go girl!

Watch out for who? I say watch out for you. Your spelling is so bad, you better 1. not let your 5 year old on the computer or 2. shut up so that your true ignorance stays hidden. I have no idea who you are or who this woman is, but you obviously got your butt beaten and probably had to cheat to finish where you did. Don't you have anything better to do?

As I have no idea who either of these people are (the lady or the whinnnnn nnnnner) it didn't take too long (even with the terrible spelling of the whinnnnn er) to determine which person I would like to pull against and socialize (swapping tales and telling lies) later with. We pull in the Southern MN/Northern IA area and the lady is more than welcome to come and pull with us. We have some ladies pull now and I say the more the merrier. Maybe MY wife will want to try it also. Just think, with Christmas coming, I could give HER that $2000 hop up kit for OUR tractor!!!

Just think what impression a person just had after running a search on Antique Tractor Pulling and comming to this site..... ..... .

Move the whinning and pi$$ing contests to the afternoon talk shows and leave this site to tractor pulling. Thank you.

P.S. There is good thought to rule enforcement and and even playing field, not to mention dirt's is a little different out west than out east.
