I just moved to Iowa City, Iowa. I want to start pulling is there a class for an farmall H If so can some one give me some information. Thanks Lee

Yes. Depends upon how you load your tractor. Send me your address and I will forward last years by laws and pull held last year. The closest we were to you was probably between Dubuque and Iowa City. Club pulls about every other weekend within about 50 miles of Dubuque. We have a farm class with standard rpms, stock tractor, 16 inch maximum heigth on the drawbar and pump fuel. No cut tires. Maybe that could work for you. Always a good time.

I'd like to think we still have fun pulling around here in Iowa. It seems the mid-west people like to win, but we have not fogotten what this sport is all about. We all like to bring home some hardware, yet it seems we all rather see old friends, and make new ones,then to get all bent out of shape over a ten dollar trophy. Don't get me wrong, we have some a-holes. But remember, God still loves them, it's just everybody else that hates them.

Big pull at Sigourney, Iowa around March 15, 16th.
Contact (Jaller5112) Jon Aller.
Pella, Iowa June 7th & Oct. 4th
Iowa State Fair Aug. 16th
Alot of Iowa rules match DIV. 3 and 4
DIV. II, III, and IV rules - Clubs around Boone, and Steam Boat Rock Ia. area is DIV II only. The Hawkeye Club would be the closest.
3500/4000/4500/5000/5500 lbs. up to a cut 15.5X38 tire.3.5 to 4 mph. horn. 10 or 15 % over rpms.
They do have open classes/ any gear and up to a 18.4X38 tire. They pull around 3500 to 8500 lbs. Club started in 1979. Club in East Iowa, with about the same rules.
Alot of good people and competition in Iowa, and surrounding states.
