I have been looking at old Deep Tread tires and think they are quite beefy. I would appreciate some opinions on these tires and tractor pulling. Anyone would like to sell some? I passed up some perfect 16.9x34s and kicked myself since. I have some wore 18.4x34s I am selling. I can't use that size in my club. Opinions please!

I went to the dekalb pull also, and I personally don't like the rules that they use. You can run a 540 cu in motor in either the Div 3 or 4 I can't remember but you can't run 25% over factory RPM's. I think that if you are allowed to run the cu in you should be able to run the RPM tractor with them. I run about 4000 RPM on my 88 and it is hard to find a class that I can pull in and still stand a chance of doing good.

I pulled with a set for two years straight and felt those are the only tires to go with. I know of a nice set of 15.5's that are for sale.

15.5 38s? I would be interested. Good tread? Uncut? Let me know. Thanks for the info!

I ran a set for most of this year (16.9-38s) but never could hook them up and ended up going back to my old BFG 16.9s. I have another set with less tread that I had loaned someone a couple of years back and they did great with them as long as the track wasn't loose. For whatever reason though I couldn't hook up with them.
