Class for Allis B?

I've looked at the rules and it appears there's no legal class for my Allis B. This is due to a frustrated hot rodder's urge to have the coolest lawn mower on the block.

The tractor appears to be postwar (electric start and foot brakes), but it has a 1939 trans and serial number in it. The engine is a CR (CE replacement) not the correct BE, and is built to CA spec's. I'm currently putting on no hood (using polished rad shell rods), lots of chrome and stainless, relocated battery, custom wheels on the front, full gages, 1 wire alternator, etc., etc. PTO has been removed but it should make well over the 1939 HP and turn well more than 10% RPM of 1939 B. The slipping wedge lock rears have been replaced with bolted on rims.

It appears to be Div 2 machine at least (if I put the hood back on) and I see that the weight classes don't go down that low.

Does this mean I should pull my real 1939 instead, in Div. 5? It's pretty much a wreck. Would it be OK to replace the (stuck) pistons (CA parts are all I can get)? Is it OK if the hood is beat sort of into shape, and there's no paint and lots of leaks? And is the lack of governer going to be a problem?

Geeze, maybe I'll just go to the local pull and run exhibition. A summer of hooking is cheaper than pistons and tires for the wreck.

And the fun in NAPTA is where?
