Well we did it on the pavement. I WON! My Ford won. We weighed the trucks at our local quarry and then i put tractor weights in my bed to equal the weight of his. I put it in 1st gear and 4-lo and I took him backwards. Sorry to all you dodge boys but ford comes out strong again. That just shows older trucks are still tougher.

I am a Ford man, but to be fair, you should have weighed the trucks front axles and than weighed the rear axles to see were the difference in weigh was. Then added the weight accordingly, either in the front or back. Hey, for all I know, if you had done that, you might have beat him even more. It is possible that just throwing weight in the bed may not have been quite fair.

OK thats enough i'm his brother and if he beat me he did it without me knowing it. I think I would know if my truck had been in a contest like that. Also little brother next time i'm home we will do this and i'll bring my digital camera just to show these guys on here who the real fool is....you! There is no way you could ever beat me!

I guess it's kind of dumb to argue about these kind of things. What can I say unexpected things happen! For example my friends stock John Deere 50 with 13.6's took the 7500 pound class pulling against built up M's,88's,and G's! I've been a very strong Dodge fan and I was just trying to find a logical explenation. I have a built up dodge, standard, with 33's and my friend has a Ford about like yours, if he ever challanges me to a truck pull (hooked up back to back) I'll be sure to turn him down! Thanks for the warning!

Im not saying there is anything wrong with dodges but my truck pulled his backwards. You all with the immature comments need to grow-up and ahve a little fun. My brother has pulled tractors behind his and it pulled them fine but so does my dads chevy and ford.

If you have you know if you haven't you will learn by the time you get to the 150ft mark just how much power and torque your F150-351 has when the old 454's , 460's and Diesels go on by at twice the speed and twice as far .

You must not know anything about tractor pulling!!! If you hook a smaller tractor hooked to the sled with a bunch of weight on it, it will always outpull the big tractor without any weight on it! Heck that is just common sense! Hook them to a pulling sled if you really want to see which one will come out on top! DODGE!!!

I pull antique tractors all the time and it doesnt matter what size tractor you have as long as you have power and traction you will alwasy do good.

Exactly, you have to get the power to the ground. He has a bigger truck with no weight. You have a smaller truck with weight. Of course you would have better traction!

Even if a little tractor is weighted down against a larger more powerful tractor with no weights all you have to do is go up a gear to get the traction you need or adjust your drawbar.
