Does anybody know if a 715 international combine engine will fit in a Farmall M using the same bolt pattern?

I agree with Donnie. You won't be able to get by at pulls with that motor, and if you do pull, you run a big risk of stripping teeth off the gears, cracking the main rear axel housing, twisting an axel off, but you can do what you want. If you want to pull with it, I would suggest to bore the original motor to 4 1/8 or 4 1/4 inch pistion. This will get you 68 to 75 horsepower if it is tuned correctly.

Yes it can be done, BUT why? There would be so much work involved. Lengthing of frames and hood. You would have a tough time passing that off at a pull. Unless pulling open or outlaw. Wouldn't be much of an advantage in fuel economy if your going to use it on the farm. My 2 cents.
Its your tractor. Go for it. It is fun to do such things. Took a 706 gas and put a 466 Diesel in it. Fun little toy.
