amy if i read my book right then you can get pistons from and int truck motor..v266 that would be same bore and with 2 1/2 in comp distance..this is appr. 5/32 more than you have now but smaller piston pin..would have to bush your rods..also if you didnt mind boring the block 60 thousandths you could get a piston from an int diesel truck motor bd264 or bg265 engine that would have 2.765 or just over 2 3/4 comp highth same wrist pin size as above .875 versus the 1.250 that your pistons have

Sorry about that i was looking at 4-5/8 instead of 3-5/8. I was trying to find some straight 6 pistons for a IH truck that were 4-3/8 I couldn't even find used ones. Good luck. Keep a whatch on E-bay for some NOS pistons I have seen a lot for older trucks but I haven't been lucky enough to find what I need.

You won't find a car piston that big or that tall. A 454 .060 over is only 4.31 and the tallest is a 427 truck engine which is 4 ring and the compression height is only 2.160. Find a cummins or old Mack diesel with the bore you need and cut the top down build some pin bushings and add ring grooves were you need them or easier just have a piston made.

First I would check on chevy pistons. I would get a JEG'S magizene and look for a set of pistons that would work. I cant think of an engine that runs that bore but I am sure you can find one. I will do some checking and let you know

The problem with car pistons are the compression height. Even after stroking the crank the are usually to short. I am not sure what will come close, but you need to look for old Truck or other equipment pistons.
