I wouldn't run AC plugs. They could be free and the only plug available, I would quit pulling instead of running them. I ran them one time when I couldn't get any Champions and that was the ONLY time I have ever had a plug foul on me. It cost me a win in the class, ended up 8 feet behind winner on only 3 cylinders. I've ran Champions ever since with NO problems. If I couldn't run Champion, I would go with Autolite.

I also have a '49 M that I pull, and I run the hottest AC plug that is avaliable. In my own opinion, if you run you tractors rich, the AC's will last longer.

Thanks for the reply's. I have a 49 M puller and I have been using Champion D21's. I've got domed 4.375" Arias pistons in it at 12:1 compression, and I was wondering, John Brawner, how much longer are the AC's than the Champs. Surely they aren't much longer, as not to hit the top of the piston. The tractor runs ok with the Champions but I was just wanting to see how the AC's worked out for me. Thanks again guys.
