You can take the pto out of the tractor and make a plate to cover the hole. You can also drain a few gallons of oil out of the rearend. I assume you have removed the belly pump, belt pulley assembly, and air cleaner. You will have to go with a steal pressed wheel and hubs to make 3500. I had to use weld on axle plates for me to make 3500 but I weigh 250lb and it let me run one 75lb weight. If you have any questions email me I have built 2 h pullers.

I real good at figuring out how to loose weight on tractors. Instead of spending alot of money on nonsense, non original ideas/parts, strip down with what you got. Remove the hydro pump. Run with enough gas to get you by to pull. Remove the fenders. Remove the PTO shield. If you want, remove the entire air cleaner assembly, breather, etc. This will get you more power by not running without the air cleaner hose. If you have already done these, find spoked rear wheels. I have seen an H down in the 3500lb. without having to change the front end, and gas tank, which in my own opinion is stupid. The WC's {if any} are highly compettive in that class, because I pull one.
