can someone please tell me what kind of shops there in ky that work on JD 2 cylinders or pulling tractors? I thinks there's a man in Winchester Ky. Can someone give me a address and phone number if possible? thanks in advance.

There's no one in Winchester that works on pullers that I know of. There's a guy who runs a welding shop here that has a bunch of JD's, though.

There is another guy that has a machine shop at his home but I think he only works on cars and trucks.

A friend took his '41 A block and head to a shop over in Nicholasville. They did a really good job on it. Give me an email if you want I will find their # for you. They are located on Union Mill Rd just out of town on left, behind the grocery store.

There is another excellent machine shop in Richmond.

There is a place in Somerset, KY called Cornett Machine. Everybody says that they do good work.

I did not have good luck with the work they did for me..took 3 times the amount of time they promised on delivery.. and after I got it I had to spend another $2000.00 with another engine builder to fix their mistakes so It would run properly... Maybe other people have had better luck but thats just my 3 cents worth

I have used them myself,,,,I didnt like the work, they did, its to high, and they lost some motor parts, for me,,,I have since used other shops. A shop in Danville is my choice, get a phone book, and give them a call,,,,, Boyle Co Mchine,,,I think is the name in the book
