Is it posible to fit a number three power block in a number two block place

have a problem i had a number three block( power block finished in my 48 jd number 595315 ser. but the block that i took out last night was number A3462R can modifi the front of the casing to get my number # power block in there and redrill the studs need help mark

With A LOT of creative thinking and a lot of work, it could probably be done. I dont think any of the studs will line up for a 6"-3 to 6"-2 switch. 2 studs are the same for a 6"-1 to 6"-2 switch, but even that one takes some creativity to get done. Even though power blocks are hard to find, I would guess finding the right one will seem easier in the end than trying to locate and drill and tap 8 new holes.
