I'm not a Farmall man, but it looks like there are a few knowledgeable ones telling you that 90 horse isn't possible with a stock bore, and you might want to listen to them. If he's sure it's got 90 horsepower, I'd run it on a few different dynos to verify it. It's not uncommon for dynos to be twenty horsepower or more off, especially if it hasn't been recently calibrated or isn't well-maintained. You also aren't mentioning what RPM it's producing that horsepower at. Pulling an engine down past rated will almost always increase horsepower. I can make about any tractor produce 20 horsepower more than it actually has just by leaning on the torque bar. Since you don't seem willing to listen to knowledgeable guys that are doing their best to help you, you'd better just buy it and find out what it is for yourself.

You can to get 90 horsepower out of a 450 standard block. You can bore it out, and not run sleeves in it, which I know for sure if you run 10% over, you can to get 116 horsepower tops. I would pay around $3500-$4750 for one like that, if he has proof that it does produce that much power.

the only way to get 90 horse from a 450 engine by just changing the pistons and head is either run about 3000 rpm's or use denny's out of adjustment dyno to test it.

the fuel doesn't help any unless you have the compression to need it.

Unless you get into the water jackets you'll never get to 90hp with a stock stroke.

I have built several stock pulling engines. 4-1/4 bore and a stock stroke, LP Head and a 10.3 to comp. ratio would yield no more than 75 HP. The only way I know of to get 90 with a stock bore would be to get 1/2" stroke crankshaft.
