Do they make power blocks for 60's? What kind of hp can you get out of one? I don't want to do any major strokeing just biggest bore possible. Plus I will do all the little things like electronic ignition, hot spark, good plugs, valves, fuel and air in manifolds, and carb work.

they make power blocks for 60 but first is first what are you going to do with it what classes what money are you wanting to spend first thing on any tractor i would do is put a cam in it high torque cam then bore and buy pistons that you drill out the pin to bring the piston closer to the head this a cheaper way out if you want to go more go buy a all fuel block cheaper than power block bigger cubic inch next is air flow head and manifold and carb last is stroke most parts are availble through a dealer at this number 724 894 2982 equipment especially the cam and pistons will be available soon

I pull a 60 with power block and lp manifolds, a little polishing of ports, power block is also bored .90 over and weighs 6000 lbs. with no weights. Unless you gonna spend lots of money, need to leave it stock and pull stock classes, because you can go up to 8500lbs. in first gear and not stall out. Did this to mine and still have to go to first gear in 7500 and 8500 lbs. So i found out unless you stroke it you still use first gear over 6500lbs with 18.4 38 tires. They are good pullers, just slow moving. My thoughts, Ken.

A #3 power block will fit a late A or 60 & your head will bolt to it.with the right carb & air flow should get you 55 to 60 hp

what classes are you gonna pull? if you are pulling super farm up to 6500 lbs in first gear you don not need to go to all the expense, the 1.5 mph first gear will spin out with stock horsepower. if you are going to pull 4 mph class you will need stroke because that is 3rd gear for a 60jd. takes a lot of stripping to get to 5000lbs also. you can bolt up an 'a' powerblock but that will limit you to a single barrel carb and intake. i would consider an overbore of .125 or maybe go bigger to a 70 piston if possible and do some headwork with lp intake and exhaust.
