Getting tires to grip and not spin

am working on a minneapolis rtu with strong motor am worried about spinning out and losing traction not losing power is there a specific way to balance weght being able to use wheel weights only please give me advice on weight tires balance as the rtu is very short thanks in advance Peter

I wish I could help you more. If you knew someone who pulled one I'm sure they could help you more than I can. Experience and time on the track is really the best way to figure out how to balance your tractor. Every tractor is diffrent in balance. Once the first year goes by you should pretty much know how to weight and balance your tractor for the diffrent classes and track conditions. Just my .173 cents worth.

tried my rtu once couldnt keep the front end down, had a 250# flagman sit on the radiator, when he got off the front came up fun pull but a strange tractor to weight. Use mine for parades,Let the "G" JD do the pulling. ot
