How far can I go before I need to bore block, tractor will only be used for pulling, also, what can I stroke, without having to make major modifications. This is a gas job.Thanks!!

Gas,diesel,LP,all-fuel, standard chassis, rowcrop with wide or narrow. Give us something to work with here. If the engine isn't completely worn out then concentrate on some hard bitting tires and weight balance first. As long as she spins out in 1st gear that's all you need.

The 70 is a gas, row crop narrow front, tired motor, does spin out in first, just looking for a little extra:)

I bored my 1956 70 gas .125 thousanths over with aluminum Clevite high compression pistons.I probably would not go much more than that unless it was sleeved because the cylinders are getting thin.Good luck with your 70.Jack(TN).
