Whats up with bad mouthing a brand of tractor
that is different than what you own? What
makes your tractor the best? I sent a message
looking for tuning for power and received a
reply from JD Man stating that accordin to Adam
and his dumb Junk Deere question and his responders I have plenty of power. Not the answer I was looking for. I own 3 tractors all different
makes Farmall,Case,Minnie and love em all. We
all have our favorites but in a lot of peoples
minds there all great.

Well, some people, like me, do like multiple brands of farm equipment and won't say bad things about one or the other. However, saying bad things could be from many reasons. For example, if someone "back then" had a Ford and most everything went wrong with it all the time, they would say it's bad. Or, if someone had operated all John Deere equipment back home, they probably would say bad things about Farmalls. Performance counts also. Some people say that a Cockshutt is the king of pullers and make them say bad things about Farmalls. I guess that it could also be with pride, for example, if you were in WW2, would you say good things about thejapanese or germans?

You are exactly right it isn't about what is the best it is about what you have pride in. I own all farmalls but would really like to own an Oliver.

Farmall Freak,
{by the way nice handle}, I think that those who bad mouth the other brands have too much time on their hands, and obviously haven't used other brands besides what they advocate. I've spent time on fords, JD, old cases, and old Allis Chalmers, and I think fondly of them all. I currently only own Deere, but that's because what is sold around here. I think there's nothing better looking than a SM-TA all painted up pretty. I may not like all the brands equally, but I can at least pick out one model from each of the brand that I wouldn't mind owning. Besides when they were all made in the U S A they were all good. Later, Greg H.

As you can tell, there are alot of people that just can"t grow up. It is good that we can"t see these people and alot of it is they are just trying to get things sturred up. Myself, I think it is pretty closed minded. luckydog

I like any old tractor, I don't care what other people say about Farmall, John Deere, or any other kind of tractor, they should get a life.
