Which engine? early 815's had a 407....later 815's had a 414....either one can be made to fit in a 560....

Will they fit into a 460? What has to happen to make one fit a 560?

Yes it will, then get a set of V-8 IH truck heads, make an intake manifold and you're set!

Gee.. I thought that daddy bear did all of that work to a 460. The guy was trying to find out information on a 560. Glad somebody was smart enough to answer his question!

Bill Bears 460 is already running and it has 740 cid. The 766 IHC engine in his tractor can beat those big MM and Case 900s most of the time now.

Talk to Lemmons they built this engine. The 766 block has more room between pan rails than 301. You could also talk to Bill about this. Watch this tractor pull the wheel speed is tremendous but not always his ground speed he usually spins out while everybody else powers out.

Greg- It doesn't matter if he's still spinning his tires, if he's spinning them into 3rd place (like 5500 at Murray). Sure makes him look smart for causing so much controversy for building a 3rd place tractor.

Have you seen the results from the last few pulls, the "Magnet" 460 has been taking it from the 900's and especially the G-6's!
