gentlemen. sent roberts a stock 51 carb. he reworked it to a super 51.sent it on a monday, had it back on weds. of following week. where i come from that is pretty good service when you consider it took 2 days for shipping each way. had him rework my dist. had it back in 7days.let me remind you there is 2 days shipping each way.pretty good service heh. unless you had your work done when he had his health problem iwould have to say your blowing smoke out your you know what.if this offends you to bad. i give a thumbs up to the quality an service that roberts deliver.

He's had our super 51 for going on a month, I'm not complaining - it is the off pullin season and everyones getting work done!

He has done at least 7-8 carbs for us.. Good work, but it has ALWAYS taken 3+ months to get one back. JDGnut

I suppose you are commenting on a post below.I reread how I worded it and really did not mean for it to sound like it did.I have talked to Robert several times and I know he does good work.His health problems was very unfortunate too.I had called him a while back and he said he had a big back log of work and that it would be several weeks just to get to it and I did not want to aggrivate him by telling him that I needed my carb asap.I know he is busy and I was just wanting to know if there were any body else who is doing the same thing to a DLTX51.

I am going to agree with Richard. I can't remember the exact time frame but it was very quick. I explained that I had a working tractor and that I didn't want to be without the carb for very long. He offered his prototype Super 51 or he would add my name to his rework list. Once it got close to when he needed the carb, I sent the carb to him. Very pleased with the work and performance
