just wondering about the 20% increase..are we talking hp?
i always thought an engine only had so much hp until something internal was changed..a gov just regulates the rpms differently..i could see on a dyno perhaps a gov changing the max hp at diff rpm level in the full range but would appreciate please somone explaining how something that just regulates rpms..if it is set at factory rpm level like the original..can develop more hp. and if it develops more hp because of an increase in rpm why not adjust the original one to that level and save the money..most of the time at a pull you have the tractor at wide open during the 1st 75 ft so if the engine pulls down a quicker gov will not help if its already at max throttle would it..just a few questions

They do make a difference. I do not think 20% but they seam to hold in longer on the lower end. I saw that one on ebay and its a super good buy.

IF I remember right they advertise up to 20% increase over stock, which I feel is a little overated. It would be interesting to hear from someone who actually tested on the dyno.

Rock-it govenors are manufactured by Extra Power Enterprises LTD 40 south woodland ave.Waynesburg Pa 15370-1722 ph.#724-627-6966According to thier field tests as much as a 20%increase in performance. What ever they consider performance.Weights are pinless thus reducing friction giving quicker responce, improved bearings, uniball linkage,I am getting this from an add in redpower.I have also herd of grinding the weights down on stock govenors and getting close to the same results.

Heres the link to the auction. I bought one off there awhile back and just loved the price and the way it worked.
