Divider plate in the intake.

Does taking out the divider plate in the intake on a JD 60 help its power any? And how high of compression is a good number for factory stroke to give best results. Thanks for suggestions.

Leave the divider in there...you may be able to streamline airflow, but that divider acts like a flow director ( or short "header" )...it would be better, if the exhaust was divided a Longer distance ( round twin exhausts would have been nice)....!!!

use LP manifolds if you can that helps a lot...dont know what ratio but if you are at about 135 to 145 psi you will be in good shape.
