How light can you make a allis chalmers 210, with no cab, no weights, no 3 point, no cast wheels, just dual hubs and steal rims, 20.8 x 38 tires. The one I have weights 16,400 lbs with 3 big weights on the inside wheels and fluid in the tires and a cab,it sure would be fun to pull with if you could get it down a long ways!Any Ac 210 pullers our there. Thanks

I'd get the fluid pumped out of the tires and find a few more weights to make up for the fluid. That would allow you to get into lighter classes. You could also take fuel out of the tank; all but about 5 gallon. These would be a few easy things to do before you start changing front ends, rims, and cast pieces.

Hope this helps!

John

There was, years ago, a 220, from Canada, which was very competitive in the 9000 SS, 12000 SS and 12000 open.

Kim, you could get that 210 down to 8000lbs if you really wanted to. I'm in the process of getting my d21 down to 7300lbs. It just takes some fabrication, a lot of aluminum, and determination, not to mention all the beer and firewood for the long nights in the shop! I had a 210 and the rear casting is a little beefier than the 21, but just about everything else is lighter. The front end is very heavy and you could probably lose a 1000 pounds up there.
