A JD B won the Central Ohio Antique Tractor Pullers Assoication 4500#, Div II Points Champion in 2002. Seems those M's, 88"s and WC's just couldn"t handle an "ALMIGHTY JD B".

Well I Have To Admit I Wish I Could Of Gotten A Chance To Pull Against This John Deere B Myself. However, I Was Never Able To Get The Chance Since He Was Content With The COATPA Click. All I Saw Is Rick Won His Jacket And None Else Was As Dedicated To That Class As Much As Him So He Desirves It. So If You Are Able To Tolerate The COATPA I Suggest You Stop Slamming The B And Be As True To The Sport & Class And Take This Coming Years Jacket Away From Him. Until Then Congrates To You Rick On A Job Well Done And I Hope The New B Is Coming Along Well. To The Rest Of You That Didn't Get The Jacket Sorry About Your Ability To Be Happy For Someone Elses Win. It Is A True Showing Of Sportsmanship.

Amen to that, a man who has the dedication to go to all the events, deserves the jacket. If you cant make it to all the pulls you cant expect to win. I have a friend of mine who is a team roper. He is very good. When he is there he rarely looses but he isnt always there so he never wins the championship. You have to be in every battle to win the WAR!!!!

That's nothing, I saw an unstyled "B" from Iowa win three 4 mph classes right in a row at Princeton Indiana in January. 3500, 4000 and 4500# classes. There were 16 tractors in the 4500# and the only other two cylinder in the class was an "A" John Deere. The "B" was nine feet ahead of the second place tractor. He had to idle it back to keep from blowing the 4 mph speed limit horn!

That B wouldn't happen to be Double Trouble, would it?

SLo, It was my sons tractor that won these January USAP classes. We went back last week for the February pull and did not do well at all. First time in over twenty years of pulling that we ever had to pull on top of frozen ground. It had been and still was very cold down there and the track froze and they had no way to do anything about it. Really wasn't much of a contest when all you could do is spin on top. The tractors that could spin there wheels the fastest and get the most ground speed built up seem to be the one that did the best. Maybe next time we will have a track to pull on again. Dave W. PS Are you coming to Sigourney Iowa this year?

Sir, Better look at the results of the January USAP pull In Princeton Indiana. As it was my sons tractor "Double Trouble" that won these three classes. 1938 John Deere "B"

That's the plan. Going to donate in 5500 and 6500, maybe 7500.

The Killer B is scheduled to return as well. That little B really likes Sigourney.

The B won the points because he went to alot more pulls then the other tractors in the class. There are a couple tractors in there that almost are always 1 , 2 , 3 in the 4500 div 2 . Joe Singer farmall M , Steve Drew farmall h , and Matt Wagner Oliver 88. so dont think the jd b is dominating cause it's not. just my 2 cents

I was at the Wayndot Co. Fair pull and if I remember correctly that JD B beat the Singer M by 35 feet.

I think Joe won the points last year with his M in that class. If I remember what I heard right, he's got about 3000 miles invested in that coat.

Joe's got a good running M. He may not always win, but he's consistently up in the top. If Steve gets the balance figured out on his H he'll be hard to handle, especially on power tracks.

The late B was the first tractor I ever owned. The B stands for BEAR.

thats probably the m's,88's,and wc's are built for the heavier classes.Lets see that b run with them in the 6 or 7 thousand pound class.

Maybe the M's and 88"s should stay home and figure out what went wrong.

Rick was able to place consistanly and show up at every pull. He made alot of pulls that other people didn't because they weren't willing to travel. Though his old B did run pretty well.

Yeah, It runs real well when nobody else is in the class, and I believe at Upper Sandusky Art Williams, with his WD kicked his but.
