Hello,
I have a friend who wants me to help him get his 88 diesel ready to pull.
He wants to make it direct injected, is there a fairly simple way to change the head to a direct injected head, along with maybe an inline pump.
If you use a gas head will it bolt up right, and if so what will that do for the compresion ratio.
thanks
Shawn

Don't hold me to this for sure but I am pretty sure that a gas head will reduce the compression since diesels run alot higher than gassers do anyway. If you figure out how to make it direct injection send pictures as I would love to see how it is done.

Try a diesel head off of a 1655 Oliver, and your rotary pump will work just fine if you take it to a pump man and have it overhauled and turned up 25%.
