A group of us are organizing a local benefit and are considering an old fashioned tractor pull with the stoneboat where it was preloaded for each weight class and men jumped on board as the boat passed. No one in this crew is old enough to remember all the specifics such as the weight classes, horsepower limits, basically everything. Can anyone out there give us a hand or at least point us to someone who can? Thanks

I Pulled last year in Union City Tn. They had a flat sled W/ hand rail and in the lite class 2 men from eachside would get on ever 20 ft. In the heaver class there would be a man ever 10 ft. It was alot of fun . And you can tell when the big boys get on. Ken

Hey Dick,
Thanks for the help. I've got a million more questions. Send me your e:mail address and I'll get back with only a few of them. This is a local fund raising event where everything stays local and we hope to make it an annual thing. But the intent is to bring a lot of folks together for some good old fashioned fun without costing a lot of money (if that's possible these days)and still raise a little money for the local park. Ain't no revival since we sell a little beer and food, but it get's all of us old tractor people together and we all benefit in one way or another. Thanks, Bill
