What can be done to a M carb for better fuel out put? I have had head work done to my M and now I can't get it to richen up at all. I think I am sucking more air in now and need more fuel to get the most out of the engine. Any help would be great!! What are your thoughts?

I put the bottom half of a 806 carb on my stock M and gained 5 horse. Bigger jet for the high idle screw, bigger metering nozzle and bigger venturi. Good Luck.

You need to drill out your gas jet for the high speed screw

Drill out high speed jet less than 1/8 inch and use a new bit want a straight clean hole. Also drill out brass tube and side holes in the discharge nozzle that goes up into the throat of the carb. watch how big you go not alot of material left to work with. My carb now 3/4 turn is plenty of fuel. Although the venturi was also bored bigger. Remember these old tractors were designed to put out a certain amount of power on the least amount of fuel. So this leaves plenty of room for tweaking.
