Big cube farmall

from an earlier post about a big bore m there was a Paul M. that stated they put 5.75" bore in M engines was this a mistake? The blocks are only 23" long.

You would be supprised at the names Paul M. has used. Sometimes he is Stan. Some times he is DW. Go To Page 4 about Big Cube Farmall. Look a couple post down He is Ted putting down the the Allis. Look a little futher down. He is TCOB talking about Mr. Bear. Go figure? ERIC with square pistons? Check out the Internet address these post are coming from.

5.75 works with square pistons....still working on how to ring it/seal it

Maybe they swapped in a W9 motor. Actually it is most likely just a mistake in typing and they meant 4 3/4". The largest bore I've heard of in an M style engine is 5".
