Took my WC Allis up to my uncle's house about 3 weeks ago. She's my puller in the light weight and I wanted her to have more power, so I oversized the pistons in it. Also had to put a new cam in it. Re did the valves, and polished to the crankshaft. Called my uncle last night, and he has her running already. I pull with a guy that has a WC, but it's not what you think it is. My uncle says he put looser springs in the governor, and when he goes down the track, it's up in the 1800's or above. We are only allowed to go 10% over though. Should I put different springs in it or leave it alone? My dad says the govenor kicks in slow, but works well when it does. Would new springs make it pull better or will it do more harm than good?

Thanks for any opinions!!
