I have to buy new tires for a tractor I am setting up for pulling. I will stick with the original size tire for the tractor. 18.4 x 34. Pull mostly on hard dry tracks. Is it worth the money to buy Firestone, Super All Traction 23 tires? Do they pull better than Firestone, Field and Road tires? Has anybody ever tried them? Thanks for any insite.

Troy boy, A set of Firestone Field and Road are tough to beat. You want a used set. A set with about 25% of the tread left is considered perfect. New tires have TOOOOO OOO much tread. They just break loose too much dirt. Loose dirt is drug infront of sled. Used tires make smaller crumbles that might go underneath sled, less infront for sure. Used tires on hard track get traction out of tire inbetween treads. Buy used tires, you get more out of them, and the cost less. Oh, And I am not a tire salesman, your mileage may very.
