For those of you that use this forum in its intended purpose, THANK YOU!!

To those of you that feel the need to make smart a** comments that take up useless space on this forum, and make people think twice about even using this service, GROW UP!!!

I don't care what kind of truck you drive, some of them are great, and some them are pieces of sh** as soon as they roll off of the line. A LOT OF THE PROBLEM IS THE PEOPLE THAT DRIVE AND SERVICE THESE VEHICLES. If you don't take care of any of them, sooner or later something will break, wear out, or just plain give up.

Thanks to all for your help and continued kindness. Your experience has saved me money several times.

I guess it was just too much to ask for some of the more juvenile people to keep their mouths shut for once!~!!~!

First off the intended purpose of this forum is to discuss tractor pulling NOT trucks of any brand. Second, You did recieve some good advice on here and there is always gonna be some good ribbing when you post things like that. At least this time it didn't get into a mud slinging thing like I have seen before. Third, get a sense of humour, I have owned both Ford and Dodge and I have my preference as do others, Heck the ribbing and picking on is part of the fun.

What did you think was going to happen when you ask a question about a truck on a tractor pulling site?.This site has the MOST critical, opinionated, out spoken, brand loyal, unforgiving and extreme competition driven remarks ever witnessed on a TRACTOR Pulling site.Yes I said Tractor Pulling Site.If this could be transfered to the track, you would see competition of the likes never seen before on this planet!

To help save space we need to use abbreviations. Instead of PowerStroke, it will now be called PoS.
So when you want to ask a question about your PoS Ford, we will now what you are talking about.
Thanks for your help and good luck with that PoS Ford.

You have Caterpillar to thank for your beloved Powerstroke and it's fuel system. The HEUI (Hydraulically-Actuated Electronically-Controlled Unit-Injection) fuel system in your Ford was a joint venture between Caterpillar and Navistar, with the majority of the R&D coming from Cat. The same fuel system is also used in the Caterpillar 3116 and 3126 engines.

You talk crap, but in the real world your Fords have IH engines and you Dodge have Case/Cummins engines. Yes J I case. They designed and built the Cummins turbo diesel with cummins. Chevy is running a engine that is built by a company they own unlike all the others. When they finally get all the bugs worked out and put a good one together it will at least be there engine and not a bought engine. Like Deere was a bought company and Case designed there own. I would much rather be proud of my heritage.

Yup good thing Case never had to or has to use any other companies products they just merge with the company and call it their own..:)

BTW the Duramax engine has been around for several years. in Izuzu delivery trucks if I recall right. Chevy didn't design it, sorry.....

First unless I am wrong Chevy bought Isuzu and the engine they are using in the trucks is a new design for chevy trucks and was not used in isuzu trucks. Case didn't merge with the companies they bought them. Just like deere bought Waterloo boy.

What about the Bosch fuel systems that make those Cummins engines so good and powerful? Did Case invent that, too? I think not. FYI - Deere used Bosch fuel injection equipment years before Case did. Too bad for you, I guess, lol.

Oh, you mean like Case bought IH so they could have some real tractors and combines.

Whose technology do you think the magnun tractor, axial flow combine, or even the early riser planter was?

Was Case even building combines and planters when they bought out IH? As I recall, the Magnums also didn't come out until a few years after the buyout, either. Why weren't the Magnums powered by true "Case" engines, rather than the Cummins? Don't get all stressed out - this is an ongoing thing between Casepower and myself.

Yea but Case used Bosch mags so they were dealing with them before deere. I had to reach deep for that one.. How does that CASE/Cummins engine pull them deeres around. A case was always good for pulling deeres..

A better question would be "why didn't they leave the DT466 IH engine in the magnum like the men who designed it had intended?" Still a much better engine in my opinion!

Chevys new fuel system was designed by Bosch for GM and GM is working out the bugs just like the Allisons new Trans. Ford and dodge are following with the same Injection, just like always they are following. Dodge had to do something, that junky cummings was making more noise than a howling Jimmy 2 stroke.

I got a news flash for you. Bosch didn't invent the HPCR injection system just for Chevy and GMC. John Deere engines have been using it for a few years now, as well.

Ever time someone has a product that works, you claim JD had it first. I dont think you want to talk about all of JDs failures. You tell us which JD tractors have up to 23,000 psi in the fuel rail at wideopen throttle? Yeah tell us which one had the allison in it as well. I am sure JD is really the one who invented it as well.

You're telling me to get real, and you didn't even catch that I said Bosch fuel system when in fact Deere uses a Nippondenso High-Pressure Common-Rail Fuel System? That was a handy little trick to weed out the idiots. I'd say you're the one that doesn't know what you're talking about. And by the way, the system used on Deeres will produce rail pressure that high. It's used on the 6081 engine in the 8000 and 9000 Twenty Series tractors and the 50 Series Combines, as well as several other applications. You really ought to check your facts before running your mouth. Your local Deere dealer can give you all the specs on the Deere HPCR engines.
