I was wondering if anyone that pulls A has ever had trouble with the drive shaft at the transmission? To me there is not much to the coupler is there a way to beef it up or is it okay as is? Thanks

Shaggy I have been pulling a Farmall B which should have the same coupler as your A for about 6 yrs now with no problems. There is 3 of us around here with B's all set up about the same and as far as I know none of us have had a problem. Tom

I didn't think it would be to much of a problem but it doesn't hurt to check. What class do you pull in 2500? The lightest we have is 3500 and the olivers clean up there. Iam trying for a small class. Thanks shaggy.

Shaggy I start at 2500 and pull up to 3250, have tried 3500 but that is getting to be a little much. A club here is doing away with the small classes this year and will start pulling at 3500 but we will stillbe able to get in plenty of pulling. Most of the competition here is from the small A-C's. I will have to fix my shifter also because it jumps out of gear but i use a tarp strap to hold it in. E-mail me and we will compare how tractors are set-up. Tom
