what type of dyno are you guys using without a pto, I've got a 36' JD A I would like to check. are you using a chassis dyno or what. thanks!

in the past at the show at portland in, i have seen a dyno fitted with a flat belt pulley, and have a shear pin in the end of it of some sort, maybe a splined shaft to attatch a pto to. if you are near there take a look at it, if not it is worth the trip there to see the show.btw they do have a swap meet some time in the spring not sure of the date

Most of the ones ive heard about, used a pto dyno, and made a setup so that you could use the belt pulley to run the dyno. Have to put some grip tape on the belt pulley to prevent slipping of the drive belt. Am not sure how accurate it is but seems to work well.
