HAS ANYONE OUT THERE PULLED A D WITH ANY SUCCESS? LOOKING FOR POINTERS TO PULL MY D IN LOCAL FAIRS. I THOUGHT WITH ITS SLOW SPEED AND LUGGING ABILITY, IT MIGHT DO OK.

My dad pulls a unstyled JD-D on the transfer machine and in dead weight pulls. Depends on what year it is, or what it has for pistons and compression. He has the high altitude pistons with the compression donuts in it. It holds its own in 5500# thru 6500#. They just need the right tires, hitch and weight setup. Try it and have some fun, most people will help with questions if you ask. By the way where are you located?
