I recently bought an M to pull and I got it to run like a raped ape. The only problem is after i changed the oil(which was gray) and put in new oil, it too turned gray.It sat outside for a long time with no exaust pipe so i think water may have just ran in and contaminated it. Has any one heard of this? Or should i pull the head off? thanks for any help

The problem is no pipe on manifold, it will make oil gray overnight if it rains will also cause valves to stick. I had one pipe and muffler was their but when hood was removed pipe was cracked around manifould. Do not remove head until oil is changed and top of tractor is fully covered.

Sounds like water is seeping in somewhere. Could be cracked head or block.

change oil one more time and if it's gray again then look for a bad head gasket or cracked head or block not a IH person so not sure if it's wet or dry sleave engine if wet could be sleave O rings
