My int. 674 with C200 engine has a Marvel Shibler? carb with a plastic venturi that is dammaged. My book says its a part # 405925 if I remember right. But that part is a smaller inside dia.than the old part. You pullers can probably tell me what effect the smaller venturi will have. ie. less power- lower fuel consumption- change in RPMs? What ya think. Thanks.

any machine shop can duplicate your old one or take the new one and make it the same size.

It might possible add more fuel. If the incoming charge is moving faster thru the smaller venturi then the effective pressure on the jet is less allowing atmospheric pressure to push fuel up the jet tube eaiser. You might still feed it fine if the faster moving charge lends itself to keeping the fuel from falling out of suspension. A big fat intake and big fat carb is not always a good thing unless you have big cubic inches and no plenium. Just my opinions..... ..... ....
