It greatly saddens me to see tractor pullers slamming one another, slamming associations and slamming parts vendors. How will we ever grow the sport of tractor pulling with this attitude? I remember in the mid 70's tractor pulling was enjoyable, less bitching and moaning. Having raised my family, I wish to get back into pulling again, but every time I read another "gripe" session where a "how-to-session should have been", I wonder if it's worth it. Some of the sport's old timers should step up to bat and start new associations or clubs if they feel betrated by current associations or clubs. They should pass on their knowledge to younger or new pullers. I don't see this happening. I know full well some will slam me for making this statement, but I hope they will think before they slam. I hope next year to be shaking hands with new friends in the sport of tractor pulling, not making enemies. I will continue to pray for solidarity within the sport I so dearly love. Amen
