It is a flat head, and the intake runner is very large (2.375") Valve diameter is approx 2.625" intake and exaust. Hope this answers your question, if not post back. Mike

..... and because of that huge intake runner, it will not lug at all, but rather fall flat on its face at lower rpms. :)

Yes, it is. I think you have seen it fall on its face a time or three, lol. Maybe someday the motor will be big enough that the head will not be overkill for it and maybe, just maybe it might lug like yours does :)

the head really is overkill and can hurt more than it helps unless you've got tons of cubes (like 800+).

Doesn't know how many cylinders we are talking about, but isn't 6" bore X 8.750" stroke X 4 cylinders = 989.54 cubic inches?
