Super Farm rules are:
No P Pumps
1 Turbo max
2800 RPM max
max 24.5x32 width tires, 38" high
Air or Electric fuel shut off
12.5 mph
No Cut Tires
Driver must ensure sled pan is straight before pulling
If tractor "pukes" on track, driver/owner responsible for clean-up or pays $50 fine -actually, this goes for any tractor pulling.

Hey BullDog!
I'll be thinking of all of you on Saturday! Sure wish I was able to ride up there. Buy the way can Eric get brake lining kits for both sides of my WD? If he can send them to Lesslie Welding & Fabricating and bill me as last time. May as well get a little work done while we're down. I am doing much better...actually drove the car yesterday. Got about 3 more weeks before I can start putting weight on the bad leg. Then I will try getting on the "Agent" again. Do well in Oakboro and above all be careful!!!!!

Thanks for the pulling order. I intend to be there but looking at the number of classes and doing the math on a 14 hour pull-that is completing a class every 24 minutes non stop. I don't think that will evey happen. My question is do I get my hook fee back if I have not pulled by midnight? Could this not be a 2 day event?
Thanks

JD you oughta just figure on staying overnight anyway. Sit around a roaring camp fire telling ghost stories... maybe even have a sing-along. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

I understand what you mean BB but if I go overnight camping, I don't want to tractor pull. And if I go tractor pulling, I don't want to camp out all night.

I wouldn't sweat it JD. You should be through long before sunday school. Glad to hear the hot farm class is back in. I'll have to make a note of that in my rule change archives.

Is this the new hook fee for SATPA or is this hook fee just for this event?

The WILDMAN has 2 of the wickedest farmalls in this part of the country. He definitely puts on a show, but he plays by the rules and I've never known him to endanger anyone. He's usually the man to beat wherever he goes.

PS Go easy on them cigarettes... Them thangs'll kill ya.

may have some nice tractors but someone like that has no business on a tractor endangering others as well as himself;heard from other sources he can't handle all the "power" anyways

YES SOMETIMES MY TRACTORS GET WILD BUT AT NO TIME HAVE I ENDANGERED ANYONE , SOUNDS LIKE YOU MUST HAVE ALOT OF TALENT AT PULLING 30HP TRACTORS. ANYWAY HOW ALL THIS GOT STARTED WAS A TRUE STATEMENT ABOUT HOW MANY CLASSES SATPA PULLED IN SIX HOURS LAST YEAR.I'LL NOT SLING ANYMORE TRASH COME TO A REAL SUPER, PULL NOT 7.5 MPH AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.

Wildman,
let's do some real quick math: IF and only IF we pulled 5 classes in "9" hours (10am-7:00pm), then we had to pull 23 classes in 5 hours (finishing up at 11:58pm). We moved at approximately the same speed all day long, rather steady pulling. Anyway, we'll just let this go for now because 7 months ago is probably too long ago to complain about.
Saturday's track was HARD, Sunday much better and we're sorry you weren't there. You missed seeing the super Moline GVI with DR, Sr on it. You know you are always welcome to come pull with us. Eric

I'd have to say you were mis-informed. Been knowing and pulling with the WILDMAN for 5 years and haven't seen the behavior you describe. Super tractors tend to rip and snort a little more than stock tractors do. Several years ago at a pull in Pageland I saw the seat break off the WILDMAN'S tractor while he was driving through the pits. Don't know how but he hung on by the steering wheel and got it stopped without hurting anyone or anything. Tractor pulling isn't for everyone. For a person such as yourself might I suggest something a little less vigorous like crocheting, or maybe stamp collecting.
