Just spent about a year and a half on the motor work on my Farmall M, but I don't know if I should pull it right away or not. Bored it out to a bigger piston and changed the head on it. After a month of work on the timing, finally got it timed correctly and the carborator set pretty close. Went out disking with it on a 14ft. heavy frame disk and it did alright. Didn't quit run the best, so I put 4 new plugs in it with the gap of a dime. After that, I don't think I have ever heard an IH run that good in a long time. Put it in road gear, locked the brakes, and let out on the clutch. She held it w/o croaking out. Could I pull it this Saturday w/o dynoing it? Thanks!!

Go for it, best way to find out is to pull, my boys and me pull a AC wd, took us 3 pulls to work all the bugs out, we had help and we asked a lot of questions at the pulls and everyone we talked with was more than willing to give advise to us, to me a great bunch of people to talk with, this helped us because we were new to it, we have been enjoying since.
Good luck

Go for it. You may want to put in a bigger ventura in the carb and open the air needle about wide open if it will run there.----deadeye
